Martial arts has become an ever growing sport that has led to competitive programs to ascertain the best of the best. Nevertheless, at Houston Real Martial Arts we encompass an environment that allows the best take on the less. For an individual to grow in the arts one must fall below the lowest point. Therefore to appreciate the learning experience of defeat to be the best. This is why we allow all belts and non-belt holders to spar with each other.
Humility is the core of martial arts, creating submissive disciples of the art form into bold leaders. Pride, arrogance, and ego have no place within the temple of HRMA. We are not fighters here at HRMA, we are practitioners developing and always progressing to humbling plateaus. Therefore expect patience from our instructors, expect spiritual growth, and expect the unexpected experience of a non-competitive environment.
From here on in we are going to produce short variation of clips on how to ascertain forms in defense and how to use them in life. All we ask is that those who learn through HRMA to be responsible with practicing our instructional videos at your own risk. We will be posting information on body mechanisms for self-defense or competitive grappling.
